“Don’t lower your standards for anything or anyone. Self-esteem is everything,” Jadeja shared on his Instagram story.
Ravindra Jadeja caught the eye on July 9 and was the center of attention when he deleted all of his Instagram posts related to his Chennai Super Kings franchise from the past two years and sparked the rumors of his split with the four-time champion lit. His action got everyone talking about a feud between the player and the franchise.
Jadeja has been associated with CSK for ten years and was an important part of the set-up. He stepped in ahead of the IPL 2022 MS Dhonic‘s shoes when he was called the captain of the Men in Yellow. Jadeja’s captaincy put him in unfavorable circumstances as the squad continued to lose and barely win a few games before management decided to hand the duties back to Dhoni.
When Dhoni took over, Jadeja was briefly banned from the rest of the IPL due to injury and returned straight away for the India series. The all-rounder has hardly any left over. spoken IPL stint since then, and his actions to remove the posts caused even greater controversy. While CSK denied the news that he was retiring from the franchise, some of the fans still believe that Jadeja’s days at CSK are over.
Ravindra Jadeja’s cryptic message fueled the rumours
Notably, the 33-year-old shared a cryptic story on his Instagram on July 18, adding fuel to the fires that have been burning for the past few weeks, reading, “Don’t lower your standards for anything or anyone. Self-respect is everything.’
Chennai Super Kings have a very active social media approach just like the other franchise and they continue to praise the achievements of all players associated with the franchise when they perform well or grow big while representing their respective countries. Amid all the rumours, CSK has continued to support Jadeja as the all-rounder is doing very well for the Indian side.
Most notably, though, Jadeja didn’t even like the posts, which he usually did, in addition to commenting, before the cracking rumors started. Following his Instagram story, CSK fans took to Twitter and shared posts for the all-rounder, urging him not to leave the franchise as “We Yellove You Jadeja” started trending on the social media platform.
