Twitter reacts in awe as MS Dhoni destroys Jaydev Unadkat as last handed CSK a 3-Wicket win

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend MS Dhonic turned the clock back and once again ended the game for his team when his exploits in the final bowled over by the Mumbai Indians (MI) gave Jaydev Unadkat CSK a 3-wicket victory, leaving MI scoreless after seven games in the 2022 IPL.

Suryakumar Yadav with 32 and Tilak Varma with 51* were the main contributors to the MI’s respectable total of 155/7 in 20 overs. Dwayne Bravo also contributed by 2 wickets and completed 150 scalps in the IPL for Chennai Super Kings.

In response, Daniel Sams chose 4/30 for MI and at one point CSK was in trouble as only Ambati Rayudu made 40 and Robin Uthappa 30 runs of the highest order. Finally, a cameo from Dwaine Pretorius (22 in 14 balls) brought them close to goal and MS Dhoni’s 28* in 12 balls with 3 fours and 1 six, enabled CSK to make the required 17 runs in the final over to win the match by 2 wickets and earn two points.

The last balls of the 20th bowled over by Jaydev Unadkat were struck for a six, then a four. Then Dhoni and Bravo doubled. In the end, the comparison came down to 4 runs in 1 ball and Dhoni basically swept Unadkat’s entire ball on his pads for a four down the leg side, to give his side their second win of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Twitterverse was in awe after seeing the old MS Dhoni closing the match as he used to do and praising the legendary cricketer on the social media site.
