Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians – two teams of different fortunes – will take on Saturday in an Indian Premier League group match at DY Patil Stadium.

While five-time champions Mumbai is out of the play-off race with eight losses from as many matches, Rajasthan Royals has a three-match winning streak and is aiming to storm the top four.

And with Royals celebrating the life and contributions of its sole IPL winning captain Shane Warne, who passed away in Thailand last montha win in this match would be a perfect tribute to the Australian legend.

For the Royals, much will depend on Jos Buttler, captain Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer. Buttler has hammered into the tournament for three centuries so far. Sanju and Hetmyer have also played their part and with Riyan Parag rediscovering his touch, the Royals will be in for a confident fate. The bowling department is looking well oiled with spin duo R. Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal pulling the strings. Chahal – with 18 scalps – leads the highest wicket-takers card, and pacesetters Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna have also made an impact.

The Mumbai Indians, meanwhile, have failed in every department. Captain Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan have had a hard time, and while Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma and Dewald Brewis have had their moments, they haven’t been enough. Bowling has also been a concern as Jasprit Bumrah has received little support from Jaydev Unadkat or Daniel Sams, forcing management to bring in veteran Dhawal Kulkarni.
